Debra Gibbs has been involved in the Participation of children and families on behalf of Hampshire Children's Fund since August 2002.

As strategic officer for Hampshire Children and Families Forum (voluntary organisation) Debra led a series of events designed to illustrate the main opportunities of development to support the aim of the programme; to reduce social exclusion for children aged 5-13 years and their famillies.

Other agencies and organisations that Debra has involved in ensuring that children and families voices are heard include; Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services, Children and Young Peoples Strategic Partnership, Children's Services Board, Children Looked After and their Foster Carers, Schools, Peer Mentoring, Traveller and Gypsy Families, Children with disabilities, Young Carers, and Black and Minority Ethnic Families.

Debra currently works as Participation Lead (consultant) for Hampshire Children's Fund to support local projects to involve the children and families in Participation.
